Basic idea of landscape architecture is to highlighten the airport as a place of arrival and departure at the location Munich and Bavaria. Guiding image for the surface design is the Bavarian landscape with its variations. The different landscape types are artificially exceeded and reconstructed. There are established images of the Munich gravel level with large gravel surfaces, stations of the hilly Pre-alps and gravel levels with rock elements of the Alps Region.
