New building of the Federal School Kemnath with triple- sports hall. Closed competition. 3rd prize with Maisch Wolf architects, Engineering office Hausladen GmbH The establishment of the School creates a location of its own by the form-giving language of architecture and the surrounding formation of landscape. The concept of arranging built form and open spaces creates built-form-integrated yards, which are, however, parts of the surrounding open topography and landscape. Whereas the landscape, with a decrease of height contures towards the outside is marked by rows of trees per contures, the yards are designed as isles on pavement around the architecture.
